Installing a small generator on my boat? - installing boat console
I'm trying to understand how to install a marine generator, is not in my boat. My concern is the smoke exhaust system is killing me. Has anyone a good idea of how they are operated safely?

I have a small 1000w Gen. on my boat. I'm on the swim platform when the anchor when the wind, the ship and below the site and give no windows or direct co-operation on the ship. I also had a CO detector. If I did not put in the helmet to the side. It was a risk, but I fully respect. You can trouble them. I want you need. Good Luck1
You have to make more gas to worry. If the generator has its own gas tank will be evacuated on the ship (if) they are in the boat. Getting enough air to cool, it would be a problem, and how the exhaust out. You can try it at the rear, but if it is wind, you need to worry about the truck, because the wind turned and smoke thrown into the pot. Not to assume that if a track is wet, press from behind. I do not think so, you would if you raised by the police or the U.S. Coast Guard because it is not an "approved device" Who's an investor and a battery to dedicated this feature? I also saw a company that is belt-driven generators, which operate outside the main machinery, including gas or mercruiser little like a mixture created.
What if you had a problem and had to use your insurance, would you be covered?
Now I have several small packets of energy in commercial and private boats for decades. Only properly installed worthwhile. I have generators fishing boats, but honestly, it is very reliable for a single fisherman in an open boat, and actually very dangerous situation for any family. Hike breezes can be devastating. Most of the boats anchored where they are constructed so that the vortex of creation, a gas engine at the rear, even if it can really push the ventilation. I was surprised by the adaptation of my first sniffer (group leader and LPG) - I thought we had a lot of false alarms, but this was not the case. He vehemently defended, since these units.
If you have the area of the roof, solar panels can be an option, and if a good wind generators, as it is a question that we all are, and LED lighting is just one way of reducing the energy required.
The insurance issue is serious and can the question for you - no one can deal with it more s answerense of humor when things go pear-shaped I promise.
Good luck: (>
If you use the generator below deck, that if you can stand to kill
Noise long. Why do you use the battery and get UPS
Some convert 12V DC to 120V AC, if what you need. Generator is something you find in a larger boat, as well as
1000-watt generator is only good for about 9 AMPS by the CA
about the same in the DC side. Honda also is strong, and bloody inside. Bad idea, but I think you can find a way.
I like the response of the inverter. Safe, clean, and should give you some power.
